The Knox College Office of Communications works with local, state, and national media to promote the College, its faculty, staff, and students, and to manage media relations regarding College administrative policies and activities.

Guidelines for Visiting Campus

Members of the media should contact the Office of Communications at 309-341-7337 or e-mail communications@knox.edu with any questions or inquiries. We can help connect you with staff and faculty as appropriate and assist you during a campus visit. The chief communications officer acts as the primary crisis spokesperson for the College.

On-campus reporting, photographing, and videotaping are allowed only with prior permission of the College. Unless expressly authorized, the news media is not permitted inside classrooms, dining halls, or residence halls. Reporters may use public sidewalks to photograph or film campus. Commercial filming is generally prohibited, but may be allowed in certain circumstances.
