This Is Our Knox
"When I speak with alumni and parents, it's clear that we're all concerned about making sure a Knox education remains relevant and affordable for our students. That takes an investment in faculty, facilities, and scholarships and financial aid. You can help by giving to the Knox Fund. Together, we can accomplish astonishing things. "
—President Teresa Amott
The things that make a Knox education so powerful—small classes, great professors, and a wide range of opportunities for learning beyond the classroom—are also what makes it a little more costly. Gifts to the Knox Fund help pay for the things that tuition doesn’t cover, from faculty recruitment to financial aid and scholarships that keep a Knox education within the reach of more bright, promising students. Quite simply, the work Knox does wouldn’t be possible without you. This is our Knox.
Your gift to the Knox Fund does transformative work, every day.
Expand the number of opportunities we offer to students, from study abroad to internships, from service to research. Contribute toward building an exceptionally engaged, hands-on undergraduate education.
Keep Knox accessible to people from all walks of life. Help us enroll an intellectual community that's as bright and bold and polyphonic as the world itself. That's the kind of student body that makes us a model of relevant, real-world liberal arts education.
Nurture innovative, talented teachers, researchers, and artists. Allow them to develop new work, explore new teaching methods, and collaborate with colleagues across campus and around the world.
More than 6,600 alumni, faculty, staff, and friends made gifts to Knox during FY2019. Gifts to the Knox Fund totaled more than $3.7 million, while another $7.6 million went toward campus facility improvements, including the Phase I renovation of the Umbeck Science-Mathematics Center.
