We’re just days into the new year, and we are already hearing from many prospective students about the challenges they’re facing in submitting their applications for admission. From wildfires and extraordinary weather events to pandemic-related school closures and family health emergencies, there are so many things happening in our world right now.

Although the number of students applying to Knox is up more than ten percent this year, many other students are still working hard to submit their applications to Knox by the January 15 application deadline.

If you’re having difficulty finishing your application—or getting the recommendations, transcripts, and test scores needed to complete it—here's some great news. To help alleviate the stress that students, teachers, and high school counselors are under right now, we are extending our application deadline to Tuesday, February 15.

The first step in your Human-Powered Education begins by applying to Knox.

This is your chance to help us get to know you—to help us understand what's important to you, how you've prepared for college, and what you hope to achieve during college.

We seek students who are bright, intellectually curious, and active participants in and out of the classroom. At Knox, you'll never be just a number—a class rank, a GPA, or a test score. In fact, we'll take the time to read and consider everything submitted in your application, and we look forward to learning all about you!

What type of applicant are you?

Apply using the Common Application, the Coalition Application, or the Knox College Application. Within 48 hours after submitting your application, we'll send you an email with login information to check the status of your application online, monitor the receipt of documents by our office, and know when your application is ready to be reviewed.
