What Students Say

  • Rosalie Ross

There’s one specific moment when I remember knowing this was the place for me. We were walking through campus, and we were right by Alumni Hall. My tour guide said hi to everyone we passed, and it was so welcoming. Everyone waved back, and they were all smiling to me, too. There was a kindness that made me feel that if I’m not going to be at home, I want to this place to be my home…it’s going to be my family.

When I visited, I knew this was going to be the place for me. I visited before I applied, the summer before my senior year. I’d never been to the Midwest. I loved it and loved the students.

I fell in love with Knox because my son saw his future here. Three words I’d use to describe our visit: Happy. Beautiful. Clean.

When I visited, I got a chance to sit in on a playwriting/screenwriting workshop. They encouraged me to share any thoughts and be part of the conversation. Right from the get-go Knox invited me to participate.
