The Historic Gingko Tree
More than 100 years old, the ginkgo tree in front of Seymour Library was most probably planted by John Van Ness Standish (1825-1919). A beloved landmark on the College's campus, the tree may drop its leaves all at once if there is a sudden drop in temperature.
