Indirect costs are items not paid to Knox, but are estimated personal expenses based on the general costs in the Galesburg area: books, supplies, off-campus housing and food, transportation, personal expenses, and loan fees.

Financial Aid Dates & Deadlines

  • October 1: FAFSA Opens
  • December 1: Priority financial aid offer FAFSA submission date
  • February 1: Knox College begins sending financial aid offers
  • February - April: Meet with Financial Aid staff to discuss your offer and payment options.
  • March 1: Preferred FAFSA submission date for families seeking financial aid offers by May 1
  • May 1: National Candidate’s Reply deadline: The date by which we hope you choose Knox!
  • June 1:  Accept or reject individual financial aid offers
  • August 1: Loan paperwork due date
  • August 15: Pay first term bill
