Knox College Fraternity and Sorority Life (FSL) is made up of four sororities and six fraternities. To learn more about each individual chapter click on the links below!
The Campus Life Office developed a policy, the Pandemic Health and Safety Requirements, to mirror the Safe Campus Meetings and Events Guidelines that is specific to fraternities and sororities. It is expected that all members review, understand, and abide by this policy, along with all other College policies.
The Fraternity and Sorority Life community will not constitute an exception to the regulations and commitments that the College, state and federal regulations, and the CDC is placing and upholding during the pandemic. We are all responsible for each other’s safety and wellbeing, and must remember that this is also necessary to maintain good standing in membership within our chapters and the future of our chapters on campus. The governing bodies and advisors have worked on providing a detailed look at how College policies will affect our membership and traditions, and these policies are here to protect the Knox community as whole. It is important that all members read and understand all College policies, as well as the updated Student Handbook rubric provided by the Division of Student Development.
The Panhellenic Council of Knox College serves as the governing body for our four Panhellenic sororities: Alpha Sigma Alpha, Delta Delta Delta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Pi Beta Phi.
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) of Knox College governs our six IFC fraternities: Beta Theta Pi, Phi Gamma Delta, Gentlemen of Quality, Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu, Tau Kappa Epsilon
