Tri Delta Epsilon chapter was founded at Knox in 1898, and is the third oldest Tri Delta chapter in existence. As the second oldest chapter at Knox, there is a strong legacy of Tri Delta members in different organizations on campus. We have members involved with honors societies, athletics teams, cultural clubs, and many members who work as Student Leaders on campus. Our members show what it means to lead with a purpose everywhere they go.

Tri Delta is made up of members with shared values where you can be yourself and belong to something bigger. We are brave, bold, and kind. We are passionate about serving others, committed to becoming the best version of ourselves and dedicated to helping people live, learn, and lead for a lifetime. Our chapter, and all Tri Delta chapters, fundraise for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, so that we can help make sure that children and their families never have to receive a bill during an already difficult time. Every year, we host DHOP (Delta House of Pancakes) where we serve pancakes to the school community to raise money for St. Jude and we organize Sincerely Yours, which is a letter writing campaign where we involve family, friends, and alumni. Our value of friendship leads us to host many events to spend time with our chapter members, as well as collaborating with other campus organizations.

Philanthropy:

Tri Delta partners with St. Jude and has three notable fundraisers throughout the year: Delta House of Pancakes (a pancake fundraiser around Halloween), Sincerely Yours (a letter writing campaign during Winter Term) , and Triple Play (a school wide kickball tournament during Spring Term). We also participate in numerous additional fundraising and community service endeavors, including a half marathon for St. Jude in Nashville, Tennessee.

Debra Bowen, California Secretary of State

Joan Didion, writer

Sophie Caldwell , Olympic Women's Cross Country Freestyle Sprint athlete

R. Louise Fith, Trident editor and creator of Tri Detla's Chapter Development Consultant program
