
When you think of college students dancing, do images of MTV Spring Break come to mind? 
And when you hear someone say "do the hustle," do you think they're telling you to hurry up?
If so, maybe it's time you checked out the Knox Ballroom Dancing Club. You just may find that foxtrotting, hustling and doing the cha cha aren't just for your parents and grandparents!
Club members meet weekly to learn and practice all forms of ballroom-style dancing, both smooth and Latin, including:
The club counts faculty, staff, and students among its membership, and is open to all—no partner, experience, or coordination necessary.
But just because the club is open to all doesn't mean it's not competitive. In fact, in the past has competed in the Cyclone Ballroom Classic, an all-day dance competition at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, with Knox members winning first place in the newcomer category in American Tango and International Rumba.
