Fall 2008 Dear Family and Friends, We have posted the tentative schedule for Family and Friends Weekend, which will be held October 24-26, 2008. You should have received a mailing at your home in September, and we will continue to add information to our online schedule, as there may be some other entertainment options for Friday night of that weekend. In the meantime, we hope the schedule will be helpful as you make your plans to visit your student. And now -- you can register online for the weekend! Some parents have asked about transportation to campus for the weekend. The College does not run a shuttle for Family Weekend, but we can recommend a couple of options for getting to Galesburg. Maple City Cab (phone 309-734-6369) runs a service that will pick up passengers at the Moline-Quad City Airport and Greater Peoria Regional Airport; call the cab company for more information. Galesburg is served by eight daily Amtrak trains operating on four national and regional routes and the station is not far from Knox. Check out more options for getting to Knox!
