Each year the Bastian Family Center for Career Success offers several funding opportunities made possible by several generous donors. Students may apply to multiple funds. Students do not need to have accepted a position to apply, but should you be selected for funding, you must have accepted the position before funds will be released. The Jane Strode Miller Internship Fund is intended to provide financial assistance for a student or students participating in an internship that is an unpaid experience over the summer in a business, entrepreneurial, brand management, or marketing role.
The monies provided will assist students with living, travel, and daily expenses incurred as part of their experiential learning experience. Graduating seniors are not eligible to apply.
The Hirsch-Zucker Endowed Fund for Non-Profit Internships is intended to provide financial assistance for a student or students participating in an internship with a non-profit organization. Non-profit organizations will not include political parties or campaign committees.
The monies provided will assist students with living, travel, and daily expenses incurred as part of their experiential learning experience. Graduating seniors are not eligible to apply.
The Mogbo Endowed Internship Fund is intended to provide financial assistance for a student or students participating in an interdisciplinary internship within the field of sustainability.
Experiences should focus on the intersection of the environment, economics, and social and cultural issues. These experiences can be found in the sciences, social sciences, the humanities, the public or private sector, or in policy or practice. Sustainability jobs can be across various disciplines, visit this list of just a few examples. Graduating seniors are not eligible to apply.
The Schwartzman Environmental Fund is intended to provide financial assistance for a student or students participating in an internship focused on environmental issues. The monies provided will assist students with living, travel, and daily expenses incurred as part of their experiential learning experience. Applicants must be returning to Knox the following Fall Term. Graduating seniors are not eligible to apply.
