A Knox education is affordable for international students. More than 17% of Knox students are from outside the United States.
We have a scholarship program—generally limited to no more than one-half of our comprehensive fee—for non-U.S. citizens who demonstrate financial need and exceptional academic promise. To be considered for admission with financial assistance, please complete the Financial Aid Application for International Students form when you complete your application for admission. We also accept the International Student Financial Aid application (PDF), which you can download to your AppTracker.
To be eligible for the non-immigrant student visa (F-1), non-citizens must document adequate financial resources—from family, sponsors, and scholarships—to meet the full costs of attending Knox. The availability of financial resources may be a factor in determining the admission of non-U.S. citizens who are academically qualified but do not meet financial requirements. Please submit the Financial Aid Application for International Students form to document these resources. We also accept the International Student Financial Aid application (PDF), which you can download to your AppTracker.
When making a four-year plan to attend Knox, your family should anticipate annual increases of 4% to 6% in college costs, as well as fluctuations in currency exchange rates.
Financial aid is not reevaluated each year, so you only have to apply once.
Please refer to the Cost and Financial Aid page if you're a U.S. citizen or permanent resident living abroad.
