5 Things To Do Before You Leave Home

  1. Make travel arrangements now. E-mail Becky Canfield or call her at 309-341-7863 to arrange shuttle service from Quad City International Airport in Moline, Illinois, or Greater Peoria Regional Airport. Visit our Getting to Knox page for more details on how to get to Galesburg and the Knox College campus.
  2. Arriving early? Find a place to stay. If you will be coming early or need a place for your family to stay, Galesburg has a variety of accommodations, including hotels and quaint bed and breakfasts.
  3. Access the student account center to pay tuition and fees and learn about financial aid. If you will be receiving financial aid, the pending financial aid credits shown in your Student Account Center (Find out how to access) are based on the most recent information we have in the financial aid office. Contact the Office of Financial Aid if you have questions about pending financial aid, scholarship, or loan credits on your account. Learn more about paying tuition and fees, financial aid, scholarships, and loans.
  4. Learn about arrivals, health care, banking, and more for international students. There are a number of things you need to learn more about before entering the U.S., like health and wellness in the U.S., cell phones, planning your arrival, getting your visa, and more.
  5. Sign your Tuition Payment Master Promissory Note. Before you arrive on campus, you need to electronically sign a Tuition Payment Master Promissory Note on your student portal.
