Student Employment

From bike mechanics and library assistants to tour ambassadors and teaching assistants, there are many on-campus jobs available for students who would like to work up to 15 hours each week.

The Office of Human Resources oversees on-campus employment. The process of obtaining a campus job begins with students using the online Knox Handshake system. Here, the student may view available campus jobs and apply for the jobs they may be interested in. Incoming students will receive an email with directions on how to access their Handshake accounts in August prior to arrival in September. Once logged in, students can update their student profiles, view and apply for available on-campus jobs, and explore the free resources that will assist in career success. We encourage students to set up a notification for set filters so that they can be notified when new jobs are posted.

More information about how to apply for a job and employment requirements can be found on the Human Resource student employment webpage.  At new student orientation, staff from the Office of Human Resources will be able to answer any questions students have about on-campus student employment
