You learn the most from the people least like you.

Today, more than 70% of Knox students receive need-based financial aid -- that's three out of every five students. You now have the opportunity to help a Knox student in need thanks to the new Knox Annual Scholarship program. You can have a direct and immediate impact on the life of a Knox student.

When you establish a Knox Annual Scholarship with a $5,000 gift, your scholarship will be awarded to a student in the term that follows the date of your gift. Knox will share with you the name of the scholarship recipient, and your name will be shared with the student as well. When deciding to make your scholarship gift, keep the following things in mind:

  • You may name the scholarship for anyone you choose -- yourself, a loved one, or even a favorite professor.
  • You can join with friends to create the scholarship -- Knox is happy to work with you to make the scholarship a reality.
  • Your named annual scholarship can be endowed in the future.

Please consider supporting a Knox student today with a Knox Annual Scholarship. Your generosity not only makes a Knox experience possible for a current student but helps Knox maintain its historic mission of access.

To create a Knox Annual Scholarship, please email Sarah Byrd, executive director of annual giving and alumni engagement, or call 309-341-7750.
