The summer 2023 program has be cancelled.
Knox College has decided to cancel this year's summer enrichment program, College 4 Kids, in order to relaunch the program fully in 2024. We look forward to planning the 2024 College 4 Kids and providing young people with fun and educational classes.
Knox College for Kids (College 4 Kids) is a summer enrichment program for students from Galesburg and the surrounding communities who are entering grades 1-8.
The program began at Knox College in 1975. Classes are taught by Knox faculty, master teachers from area schools, professionals, and Knox College students who serve as teachers or teaching assistants.
Knox College 4 Kids courses are designed to engage and motivate students of all backgrounds.

Knox College 4 Kids consists of three, one-hour class periods held on weekdays, Monday-Friday, for two weeks each summer in June. Course selection is first come, first served, so we encourage you to register early and online to ensure your course selection.
Designated drop-off and pick-up locations and final schedules will be shared with registered participants via email before the start of this summer's program.
First day check-in begins at 7:45 a.m. in the lobby of the Ford Center for Fine Arts (CFA). Please join us that morning for a brief Welcome Program for participants and their families. Families and friends are also invited to join most classes on the last day of camp for presentations and culminating activities.
The drop-off and pick-up location map will be shared with registrants via email and a paper copy will be provided at check-in.
The advance registration fee is $175. After May 31, the fee will be $200 and t-shirt sizes can not be guaranteed.
A limited number of partial College 4 Kids scholarships are available on a first come first serve basis for students who have financial need, based on eligibility to participate in the free/reduced meal program. See registration for additional information.
