The Student Activities portion of the Campus Life Office enhances the academic mission of Knox by providing personal attention for students and serving as your primary resource for co-curricular involvement.

With more than 70 registered student organizations, we offer a number of opportunities to get involved in co-curricular activities, programs, and events.

Getting involved as a leader or member is as easy as stopping by the Campus Life Office on the first floor of Seymour Union. We're open from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

The Campus Life Office is running the following student activity initiatives:

Building Knox

Building Knox is a collaborative program, organized by the Office of Campus Life and Mortar Board, Inc. It aims to provide relevant ongoing training and support for the numerous clubs and organizations at Knox, teaching them about how other organizations function and helping them develop their own programs. These sessions are facilitated by various faculty, staff, and student leaders. Building Knox is a year-round program; the first three sessions will be held during Spring Term 2015.

Across Knox

Across Knox is a monthly presentation encouraging students to embrace other cultures. Students from across the globe and the United States share their experiences with the Knox community through presentations and campus activities, sharing literature, poetry, festivals, foods, dance, and anything that represents their culture. The purpose of these presentations is to increase understanding and appreciation of people's differences, and to incorporate other cultures into the Knox community. This is a year-round program.

Top Knox Leadership Program

The Top Knox Leadership Program is designed to help students develop their team-building and leadership skills. Sessions are held on Wednesday nights throughout Fall Term-each one focuses on a different aspect or method of leadership. From diversity workshops to the Make Campus A Better Place Challenge, students are sure to hone their skills as leaders over the course of the 9-week program.
