Knox has a number of small houses on campus for students. Many of these houses may be assigned through the Special Interest Theme Housing process. Any remaining houses are granted to students through the Small House Selection. The Student Life Committee of the Student Senate will finalize the awarding of the Special Interest Houses for the 2017-2018 academic year in late February, and those houses will therefore not be available through Small House Lottery.

All campus houses have full kitchens. Students should remember the following before applying:

    • Standard college furniture may not be available in all areas, due to space and inventory constraints.
    • Laundry facilities (washer and dryer) are not available within each house, but students are provided access to facilities in adjacent buildings.

There is no additional fee to live in a campus house for the 2017-2018 academic year, but students will be charged the single room rate if they live in a single room. This applies to all single rooms, including those in Small Houses, International House, Asian Cultural House, Casa Latina, Q & A House, Harambee House, and ABLE House.

Overloads are not allowed in campus houses.
