Natalie Juarez is a sophomore majoring in Education. She is from Chicago. She is involved in Ultimate Frisbee and M.E.Ch.A. She decided to be an RA to help students transition from high school to college as well as develop themselves through the opportunities Knox offers. She is looking forward to the memories she will share with her residents as well as everything the new school year has to offer.
Post 2 (LLC: Creating Monsters)
Max Caplan is a sophomore who plans to major in history. He is from Chicago, IL and is involved in Jazz Combo, Model UN and Improv. He decide to become a RA because he was inspired by the leadership and compassion shown by his own RA and felt that he wanted to live up to those values. He is looking forward to helping new Knox students get acclimated to college and help them achieve their own goals whatever those may be.
Post 3 (LLC: Human Rights)
Shayan Nadeem is a junior majoring in Elementary Education all the way from Lahore, Pakistan. He has a hunger for sports and is also involved with the Office of Spiritual Life on campus. He decided to be an RA because he loves the weekly meetings that he has to attend! He is looking forward to answering the weird questions his residents come up with!
Post 4 (LLC: Science Fiction & Human Identity)
Ikenna Ozor is a sophomore from Aurora, Colorado planning to major in biochemistry with at least a minor in Spanish. He is a member of the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) and is a member of Harambee. He decided to become an RA because he wants to help make the transition from high school to college much easier. He is looking forward to being a part of the vast growth him and his residents will go through in the year.
Post 5 (LLC: Walking as a way of Knowing)
Josh is a senior majoring in Creative Writing and History. He's an active member of the Improv Club and helps run Quiver Magazine, the genre publication on campus. He has had a history of great First-Year floors and is looking to keep up the streak with a new Living Learning Community.
Post 6 & Basement (Returning Students)
Tehreem Anwar is a sophomore aspiring to major in Computer Science. She hails from half way around the globe in Lahore, Pakistan. She became an RA to pass on the same kindness and support she received in her first year at Knox. She’s excited to build strong relationships with her residents and for all the memories to come!
Post 7 & 8 (Returning Students)
Q is a junior majoring in Economics and minoring in Business and Psychology. He is proud of his Vietnamese nationality and he loves his culture. As an RA, he wants to be a good resource to help other students to have the best time they can with their college experience. He is looking forward to building strong relationships with his residents and friends this year.
Post 9, 10, and Basement (Returning Students)
Irein Thomas is a senior double majoring in psychology and neuroscience. She is from Morton Grove, IL, and she is involved with APO, IVCF, and Psi Chi. She decided to be an RA because she desperately seeks positions of power (just kidding!) and to connect with a group of wonderful people. This year, she is excited about being an upperclassmen RA for the first time!
Anelisa Gamiz is a sophomore who is currently undecided for her major. She is from Phoenix, Arizona. She is also a tour guide, student athletic trainer, and works in the Office of Sustainability. Anelisa is excited about being an RA because of the relationships she can make with her residents and to be able to help incoming freshman.
Einar Pieler is a sophomore from Crystal Lake, Illinois, and is planning on majoring in music and psychology. He is also in the Knox College Choir, and is involved in the theater department. Einar has a passion for communicating with others and providing warm, accepting environments in which meaningful relationships can be built. As an RA, he is very excited to be there as a leader and a resource for his residents, making memories and working towards a fantastic first year!
Campbell-Elder 1 & 2
Liam likes brains, so much so that he's come all the way from Annapolis, MD to study them. As a junior at Knox, he's had the opportunity to play with his brain and other during his time playing drums for Cherry St jazz combo, gallavanting with Knox Improv, editing for Cellar Door, and swapping poems with anyone who has the time. Liam became an RA to give back to his favorite community of brains, Knox College, and he's returned because being an RA is the perfect excuse to make friends with new people on campus.

Lauren Preston is a sophomore majoring in International Studies and minoring in Spanish. She is from Denver, Colorado and loves participating in Ultimate Frisbee, TERP, UNICEF, and Peace Corp prep here at Knox. Outside of Knox you can find her volunteering at the local dog shelter, hiking at Starved Rock or sipping coffee at The Beanhive. She decided to become an RA to be apart of a community that is founded on helping one another and to be a guiding resource for her residents. She is looking forward to greeting all of her residents, seeing growth in herself and others, and collaborating with the RA team.

Akash Patel is a junior majoring in chemistry and minoring in Spanish. He is from Hoffman Estates, IL and is involved in Best Buddies and Ultimate Frisbee on campus. He decided to be an RA to help others grow and have a smooth transition into their first year at college. He is looking forward to becoming close with his residents and his RA team during the year!
Sherwin-Neifert 1 & 2
Arsalan Bin Najeeb is an International Student from Pakistan, majoring in computer science. He is also involved in UNICEF Knox Chapter and Alumni Ambassadors as a member of their executive committee. Arsalan is looking forward to meeting his residents for the next year and also working with other RA's to make the coming school year the best for everyone.

Maika Padilla is a sophomore double majoring in political science and Spanish. She is from Albuquerque, New Mexico, and plays for the Knox Varsity Volleyball. She is also involved in SAAC and Sorority TriDelta. She decided to become an RA because she wanted to be a part of her residents Knox experience by ensuring that they have the best experience possible. She wants to be a great resource for her residents and also a friend. She looks forward to making new memories and learning new things about herself and her residents.

Ty Straw is a sophomore majoring in political science. He is from Wichita Falls, Texas and is a member of the Football and Track Programs. He decided to be an RA because he is excited for all the experiences that will be made with his peers and residents while also being someone that could be relied on.
Raub-Sellew 1 & Basement
Matt Milewski is a sophomore planning to major in Political Science and Philosophy. He is from Arlington Heights, IL and also occasionally writes for The Knox Student and literary publications such as Cellar Door. Matt wanted to be an RA because he wanted to be a source of support for others, and to help them have an even better experience. He is excited to meet new people, and to help his residents have the best year they can.
Madeline Swift is a sophomore planning to study Environmental Science. She is a member of the Knox College Choir and participates in Terpsichore Dance Collective, as well as theatre productions on campus. Madeline became an RA to help guide others on their way through Knox and create an environment in which they feel at home. She can’t wait to meet new people and have fun!
Sophomore, Junior, and Senior Students
Domanique Rahman is senior majoring in Anthropology and Sociology. He spent a year abroad studying in both Cameroon and Botswana and for these reasons he hasn't been involved on campus. He was, however, an avid member of the UNICEF club at Knox and he is now the current president of the Fraternity "Gentlemen of Quality." While he proudly reps his home town Chattanooga, TN, you can always catch him with a smile and good conversation around campus. Domanique decided to be a RA because he loves to help and see others thrive and find their place on campus. He just knows it's going to be a good year!
Nhi Cung is a senior majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Business and Management. She is from Hanoi, Vietnam. She is involved in International Club, Asian Student Association, Mortar Board, Knox Women in CS, and also a Lab Manager of SMC Lab, ITS. She decided to be an RA because she hopes to help others to see the best of themselves, support them when they need and also to get involved on campus. She is looking forward to making a memorable year with her residents and her RA team!
Ravie Boungou is a sophomore majoring in Education with a minor in Dance. She was born in Congo, Brazzaville and lives in Peoria, IL. She is President of Harambee and a member of IVCF, A.B.L.E., and Lo Nuestro. She wants to be an RA who can utilize her interpersonal skills and ability to create accordance amongst others to enhance their experience at Knox and help them find their full potential. She is looking forward to creating bonds, friendships, and incredible memories with all of her residents and fellow RA's.
Bryanna Martinez is a sophomore majoring in Elementary Education and minoring in Dance. She is from Chicago, IL and is also involved in Terpsichore Dance Collective as the Co-Production Manger, Vice President of Community Relations for her sorority, Delta Delta Delta, Epsilon Chapter and she is part of Common Ground. She decided to be an RA because she loves meeting new people and offering her help and advice when she can. She cannot wait to meet her residents and hopefully help them feel like this is their home away from home during this amazing year!
Eliza Dehlin is a junior, and a history major who hails from Viroqua, Wisconsin. She is involved in choir, Student Senate, and of course, the RA staff! She decided to be an RA because she loves helping people, and had a great RA her first year who inspired her in many ways. Eliza is looking forward to meeting her new residents, and making great memories in her third year at Knox.

Dea is from Gjakova, Kosovo. She is a junior majoring in Psychology and minoring in Peace and Social Justice. Dea is involved with Alpha Phi Omega (Alpha Beta Gamma chapter), Alumni Ambassadors and KnoxCorps. She decided to be an RA so she can meet new people and help them have a great experience in college. She is excited to spend her junior year getting to know her residents and the other RAs.
Bob Lallky is a senior majoring in Political Science and potentially Business. He is from Homer Glen, Illinois and graduated from Lockport Township High School. At Knox, Bob is the Special Events Coordinator for Union Board, the Class of 2019 President, and the treasurer for TKE. This is Bob's third year being a RA and he looks forward to once again being a role model on campus.
Reshma Rajan is a senior majoring in Biochemistry with a minor in Africana Studies. She is from Glenview, IL and she decided to be an RA because she loves being a part of a team and helping students have a better college experience. She is looking forward to working with the first year experience in her new position as First Year Community Coordinator!
Serena Dow is senior majoring in Creative Writing with a minor in Psychology. She is interested in medicine and plans to become a pediatrician or psychiatrist. She hails from Milwaukee, WI and is involved in Student Senate, McNair, Hospice, and Delta Delta Delta. Serena became an RA to help residents transition into Knox and become who they are meant to be. She is looking forward to building relationships with her RA staff and her residents.
Trezher-Njoh Malafa is a senior majoring in Economics. He is from Flint, Michigan and is also a member of the TRIO program. He decided to be an RA because he wanted to become a more active member of the Knox community and wanted to help residents feel more at home during their time here. He is looking forward to meeting the residents this year and excited to be an RA for Knox College during his senior year!

Jeffrey Leon will be a senior next school year majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Chinese. He is from Chicago, Illinois and is also involved in M.E.Ch.A. and TRIO. He decided to be an RA because he loves the learning experience between residents and RAs, where residents utilize their RA as their resource either to get around campus or find their full potential. As for the RA, Jeff knows that he has learned better problem-solving strategies and communication skills. He is looking forward to making connections with his residents and his RA team during the year!

Jocelyn Perez is a senior with a Biochemistry major and a double minor in Spanish and Health Studies. She is from Chicago, IL. On the Knox campus, she is involved with Greek Life, Newman Club, and Mortar Board. Jocelyn looks forward to being a third-year RA and interacting with her residents.

Leslie Macias is a junior double majoring in Political Science and Anthropology and Sociology. She is from Chicago, IL and is involved in multiple student organizations on campus including Student Senate, Multicultural Student Advisory Council, and M.E.Ch.A. She decided to become an RA because she wanted to be a mentor for students and help them find a home at Knox. She is really looking forward to creating new bonds with her residents and coordinating with her RA coworkers.
Leonard Monterey is a senior majoring in Psychology, minoring in International Relations, and dabbling in lot of other fields. He's from Chicago, Illinois and is involved with Student Senate and other random stuff on campus. He wanted to be an RA because he wanted to help people in their time of need #BornReady. He wants to make his final year at Knox a memorable one.
Nikyra Washington is a junior majoring in Elementary Education with a double minor in Africana Studies and Spanish. She is from Highland Park, Illinois and is also involved in Allied Blacks for Liberty and Equality, and she is also a Center for Intercultural Life Peer Tutor. She decided to be an RA because she hopes to contribute to making this campus an environment in which students feel safe and can succeed. She is looking forward to the memories she will make with her residents and her RA team during the year!
