Register

Registration for HORIZONS 2024 begins on March 1 and will remain open until April 1. Once registered, students should submit their final poster or presentation between April 1 and April 28. See below for more details on the phases of registration and submission:

• Phase One: Register (March 1 - April 1)

  Each project must be registered by a student by April 1 using the Project Registration Form. A student may not register more than one project. If more than one student is involved in the research, only one student (the "project lead") should register the project. That student will be asked to list all other student presenters. Any student listed under the "Presenter Names" section of the form will be registered for the event and will receive all event-related correspondence.

  If a student is involved in the research project but is not able to attend the HORIZONS event, the student should still be included in the Project Registration form so their name appears on the event program. Their non-attendance should be indicated on the form.

• Phase Two: Mentor Approval (By April 10)

  The faculty mentor who supervised the student project is asked to signify their approval of the student's plan to submit a HORIZONS presentation (poster or oral) by April 10. Students should let their faculty mentor know early of your plan to participate and that this approval is part of the process.

• Phase Three: Submit

  All posters and oral presentations must be submitted by April 28.

  Posters must be submitted via the Project Submission Form by April 28 if you wish for the Vovis Center to print your poster for you. If you choose to print on your own, you must submit the paper copy of your poster to Vovis Center by May 13 at 4:00pm for it to be included in the HORIZONS event on May 17.

  Oral presenters must submit their powerpoint presentation slidedeck or original paper via the Project Submission Form by May 1.
