While you're a student at Knox, you are permitted to work on-campus from the day your program begins until you graduate. Many international students hold on-campus jobs at Knox.

To find a job, begin by using Handshake to search and apply for jobs. Students are also encouraged to ask departments or offices for whom they're interested in working whether any jobs are available. Please note that some jobs posted on the Job Bank take place off-campus, and visa regulations do not permit F-1 students to hold those jobs.

During academic terms, students can work up to 15 hours per week on-campus. During summer break, you can work full-time, up to 40 hours per week.

More information about how to apply for a position, employment requirements, and wages and workloads can be found on the Office of Human Resources student employment webpage.

Students are not permitted to begin working until they have completed the ADP onboarding process, had their I-9 documents verified, and provided proof of their Social Security Number (SSN) application. The Office of Human Resources will notify the student once they are officially authorized to start working.

For questions please contact Clarissa Kampe, Director of International Student Services, ckampe@knox.edu or Rachel Russell, HR Generalist, at rrussell@knox.edu
