Ford Center for the Fine Arts

The following programs are organized on the basis of their primary thematic focus. However, many programs provide flexibility with regard to a student's choice of (some) courses and of research project. In some cases, specific themes change from year to year. Students should not rely on this list as the final word (ha!) but should always turn to the program provider's website for the very latest information about program content, program dates and admission requirements (including minimum GPA, which varies by program).  We welcome additions and updates to this list.

A number of fine programs listed here are not presently on the Knox pre-approved list but are definitely worthy of students' attention and choice.  Students may petition for approval to apply to an 'off-list' program (the deadline for the petition is in the first week of December of the year preceding the study abroad experience), and then complete the application for approval for that particular program by February 1. The Knox internal deadline for applications for approval to study abroad is, with a very few exceptions (ACM/GLCA Japan Study and IES Oxford) always February 1. Program provider deadlines for applications for admission vary widely. Browsing the program offerings by theme or discipline of IES, ISA, CEA, CIEE and AIFS is a good way to start!
