Meet the Eleanor Stellyes Center for Global Studies Staff

Todd Heidt

Director, Eleanor Stellyes Center for Global Studies

Todd went abroad for the first time at the age of 16 with a high school exchange to Germany. When he got back to the US, he immediately started saving for his next trip. Since then, Todd has studied, taught and researched in German-speaking Europe. He loves helping students find enriching experiences off-campus. Todd can assist students interested in studying off-campus, answer questions about the Peace Corps Prep program, support students in applying for funding for off-campus study, and more.

When he is not in the Stellyes Office, Todd teaches all kinds of courses in German language and culture and can be found in the Oak Room on Thursdays eating lunch with students at German Table. Todd lives in Galesburg with his wife and a very bossy, but very charming, Scottish Terrier.

Lindsey Rogers

Stellyes Center Administrative Assistant and Power of Experience Coordinator

Lindsey is the Stellyes Center Administrative Assistant and the Power of Experience Coordinator.  She can assist students with study-abroad applications, as well as provide resources and support for funding.  Her favorite part of working at Knox is being able to get to know students and learning about their goals.  Lindsey grew up in a small farming community not far from Galesburg, where she returned to raise a family and start a small farm.  She and her husband have three children.  Lindsey enjoys traveling, reading fiction novels, raising a menagerie of animals, baking, and soapmaking.
