The Kleine Center for Community Service manages a wide range of engagement opportunities, including volunteer service, charitable activities, and community outreach designed for students, faculty, and staff at Knox College.
Comunity Dance Day invites local families to take a free movement workshop followed by a dance performance to celebrate the practice of dance and enhance community engagement with the arts. This event takes place at Knox College on Saturday, March 4th 2017. The movement classes are from 10-11am and the performance begins at 11:15am. Knox College students are eafer to share what they have learned in dance with the community where they live. A closing discussion will encourage feedback and questions so we can continue to facilitate and celebrate access to dance in our community! Pre-registration for the movement workshop is suggested: please visit this website.
