Fall Interview Day

Students are able to submit resumes in consideration of an interview for various types of business and IT related positions and internships with several different employers. This event is typically held mid-October.

Fall Institute

Workshops on the preparation of resumes and cover letters as well as the process of finding the right internship are normally held during the all-campus Fall Institute day.

Graduate & Professional School Fair

Typically we host over 50 graduate programs. This gives our students an opportunity talk first-hand with the recruiters. Our fair is normally held in October.

Career Development On-Demand

An exciting and interactive way for us to provide a valuable career-related service to your student organization, residence hall, team, group or department. We have a variety of workshop topics to choose from.

Carlin Career Development Forum

Presented by an outside constituents, this event typically provides a tremendous array of helpful tips about career development for students. Currently this event is an intense 2-day program geared toward upperclassmen.

Consortium Interviewing

As a member of the Illinois Small College Placement Association (ISCPA), Knox students are able to submit their applications with employers looking to hire small college liberal arts students. If selected for an interview, students are able to talk with recruiters about the position posted on the consortium's website. Consortium interviews take place throughout the entire academic year.

Etiquette Dinner

Usually presented by an outside facilitator, this dinner is typically held in Spring term and focuses on helpful tips on dining etiquette and professional networking.
