Students attending the summit will have the opportunity to hear from Knox alumni representing a variety of industries. Over the course of these two days, students will engage in numerous career-related sessions targeted specifically to the liberal arts student, hear dynamic speakers, network with industry professionals, and gain a wealth of skills and ideas that will have a positive impact on their career. Topics include: Building a Career You're Proud of, Resume and Interview Tips, Social Media and Personal Branding, Networking Skills, Choosing Between Graduate School and Career, Skills Employers are Looking For, Landing your First Job Out of Knox, Using Your Knox Education in the Real World, Building a Culturally Competent Career, Work That Makes A Difference, and Reaching the Summit - Having Confidence in Yourself.

The event is scheduled to begin on Monday, November 21st. The day will consist of keynote speakers, break-out sessions, and will end with a dinner and an alumni networking reception. The second day, will include additional sessions, resume critiques, an employer Q&A panel, lunch, and a closing speaker. In addition, students will have the opportunity to register to participate in a pre-conference luncheon with participating Knox alumni. This is an opportunity for students to get to know the Knox alumni featured in the event.
