How May We Help YOU?
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) offers holistic academic support services for all Knox College students and Gale Scholars. These services are free of charge and intended to assist students with virtually any aspect of their learning experience.
Optimize your learning with your peers at the CTL.
We are thrilled to welcome the Knox Community back to campus! We are looking forward to seeing you back in Red Room (or, for Red Room SMC, in SMC A201) for drop in tutoring! We know that the convenience of online appointments and tutoring makes getting the help you need easy, so going forward, we will be offering BOTH drop in and online tutoring!
Beginning the second week of the term (Tuesday, September 21), tutors will be available from 7-9 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings.
Note that many of your classes have a tutor attached to them. These are tutors you can meet with during the first week of the term and in Red Room after the start of the term. These tutors can share their work schedules with you, but if you need help sooner rather than later and your tutor is not working in the Red Room on a particular night, feel free to drop in to Red Room anyway since there will be other tutors there with whom you can meet. Not sure which tutor supports your class? Check out our list of tutor assignments.
You can also make an appointment with a CTL tutor by clicking the links below. When making an appointment, we ask that you schedule before 10 PM for an appointment the following day. If the tutor assigned to your class is not available when you are free, please contact them via email to arrange a time which will work for both of you.
