Professors Address Financial Concerns

Economics and business professors discuss factors leading to economic crisis

To help the Knox community better understand the deepening financial crisis, Steve Cohn and Rich Stout, professors of economics, and John Spittell, executive-in-residence and professor of business and management, led a discussion about the issues associated with the financial crisis and the steps being taken to address the issues.

"We're not experts, but we will attempt to use our general understanding of economic and business theory to make sense of what's happening," said Cohn prior to the discussion. "We all have diverse options, which is the strength of an academic institution."
