Adapted from George Eliot’s Victorian novel by Helen Edmundson, Knox College's winter main stage production of The Mill on the Floss is a tempestuous story of how passion and constraint pit a young woman against herself and everyone she loves as the world around her conspires to divide her from her true nature.
The Mill on the Floss is directed by Elizabeth Carlin Metz, Smith V. Brand Endowed Chair in Theatre Arts. Production dates are March 4-7 at Harbach Theatre in Knox's Center for Fine Arts. All shows begin at 7:30 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at the door: $10 for adults/$5 for seniors and alumni, and free to the Knox community and students.
