You may not be moving onto campus, but as the parent or guardian of an incoming Knox student, you are also part of the Knox community.

Here within the New Student section of the website is information to prepare for life at Knox. From this section of the website, students also have access to their Pre-Arrival Tracker, which includes all of the forms—from housing preferences and dining options to medical history and taking placement exams—that need to be completed before students arrive on campus.

When they access their Pre-Arrival Tracker, students can easily see what has been completed and what still needs to be done.

If you have questions at any point, please feel free to contact the Division of Student Development or call 309-341-7222.

We look forward to working in partnership with you, with the goal of helping your student achieve great academic and personal success. Together, we can make these next years truly transformative.

Here are a few more things you can do now:

Join the Parent Facebook Group.
This is a place where you can ask questions of other parents or College staff, get updates about what's happening on campus, or simply get to know one another. Also be sure to check out our main Facebook page, Twitter account, Flickr photostream, Instagram account, and YouTube channel.

Listen to a phonecast about the Knox student experience.
Parents of prospective students had an opportunity to ask questions of Knox administrators about the academic and residential experience at Knox. Listen to the phonecast.
