COVID-19 Testing

Before you leave home, please make sure that you don't have any COVID-19 symptoms prior to coming to campus; if you are feeling ill, let us know and we will reschedule your arrival date.

On-campus COVID testing is available to all Knox community members Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. at T. Fleming Fieldhouse. Anyone who is experiencing symptoms or is identified as a close contact of someone who tested positive for COVID-19 should schedule a COVID-19 test. Campus community members who have a religious or medical exemption for the COVID-19 vaccination are required to test twice a week. 

COVID-19 testing is coordinated through SHIELD Illinois. There is no cost for these tests. To create your account, please visit Portal.shieldillinois.com and click Sign up for an account. Using the student agency code below, create your new portal account. Once you submit your information, you will be sent a verification code to enter and confirm your identity. You can also create your portal by going to the Apple Store or Google Play Store and downloading the SHIELDIL app (Point and Click Solutions, Inc.) and using the appropriate code below. We recommend that you copy and paste this code in order to avoid errors.
