One Community

A Knox education is about more than learning in the classroom; it's about being part of a healthy campus community. For that reason, Knox requires all entering students to complete two online courses—AlcoholEdu and HAVEN—before they arrive on campus.

Taken by more than 700,000 college students across the country, these two courses will help you develop the skills needed to address critical life issues such as alcohol abuse prevention, sexual assault prevention, and bystander intervention.

Get started on the online courses now.

5 Things To Do Now

1

Get involved on campus and in the community.
There's always something going on at Knox, and it's the students who make it happen! Knox has more than 100 student organizations. Want to get involved? Take an interest survey on your student portal and we'll pass your name to organization leaders so they can let you know how to jump-start your involvement at Knox.

2

Find a campus job.
Bike mechanic, writer, tour ambassador, teaching assistant—many on-campus jobs are available for students who would like to work up to 10 hours each week. Learn more about student employment at Knox.

3

Explore your new home at orientation.
You'll get to know your classmates, meet faculty and staff, learn how to navigate the campus, understand how learning happens at Knox, explore your new home of Galesburg, and much more. View the orientation schedules.

4

Pay tuition, room, board, and fees.
Tuition, room and board, and other fees are due in a few days. Learn about your options and payment due dates for the year. Before you arrive on campus, you also need to electronically sign a tuition payment master promissory note on your student portal.

5

Say "Cheese!"
Knox's photographers and videographers work throughout the year to capture and share the Knox experience with the College's many constituents. Our photos, audio, or video recordings may be used on the Knox College website and other digital communications, in print publications, and for publicity purposes. But you can choose to opt out of photo and video coverage. Read more about our media policy (PDF).

Be sure to join the Class of 2021 Facebook Group and introduce yourself to the class. Miss an e-mail?  See what you missed in the Communications Archive
