Smart Start will help you get ready for fall term registration and set you on the path to a successful first year. Sure, there is a lot to learn about Knox, but Smart Start will ease you into it.
Smart Start Advising
Smart Start’s Advising Week runs from June 15-19, 2026. Early in the week there will be general informational sessions to introduce you to Academics at Knox and help you prepare for your one-on-one meeting with your faculty advisor. There will also be specialized advising sessions to help students interested in pre-professional pathways (such as pre-health, STEM, arts, engineering, and law) prepare for their first year. All sessions will be recorded and links will be available to students who were unable to attend live virtual sessions.
During the second half of Advising Week, students will meet with their faculty advisor and get personalized support for fall term registration. Smart Start will continue into Registration Week, which runs from June 22-26, 2026, to ensure that you have ongoing advisor support if you need it.
