Are you considering a career in the health professions? "Health professions" includes medicine (MD/DO), MD/Ph.D. (physician/scientist), physician assistant, dentistry, public health, nursing, occupational therapy, physical therapy, athletic training, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, genetic counseling, and more.
Last week, I held a Pre-Health Info Session with incoming students and discussed preparing for the health professions at Knox. For your reference, I have attached a recording of that session.

I also want to get to know about you and your goals in the health professions. Here’s how we can make that happen:
When you met with your faculty advisor to register for fall term, hopefully you kept the below things in mind (if not, it’s not too late to set up another meeting with me or your advisor):
- Chemistry and math placement
- A world language that interests you
- Off-campus study plans or hopes
- Courses that you are excited about
I look forward to seeing you on campus this fall!
