Be At Your Best: Resources to Help You Stay Healthy
Hello from Health Services! At Knox, physical and mental wellness are important to achieving a well-rounded academic experience. The following items are crucial to ensuring a safe and healthy start to your first term:
Complete your Immunization Records form
You can complete this form through your Pre-Arrival Tracker. This form must be completed before you begin classes. Questions about immunizations? Contact Health Services.
Explore your on-campus services options
The following services are confidential, and a variety of these services are offered at no additional cost:
- Health Services - There is no cost per visit for basic on-campus health care, and no limit to the number of visits you can make to the office, which provides basic health care for illness and injuries.
- Counseling Services - Confidential counseling, outreach, and consultations are available free of charge to all Knox students, where you have the opportunity to talk with an objective professional about your feelings and concerns.
- The Office of Disability Support Services - Promotes accessibility for students with disabilities in all areas of campus life by facilitating accommodations, promoting the use of innovative resources and programs, and advancing inclusive and sustainable learning and living environments across campus.
Consider your insurance options
- Accident insurance plan (automatic enrollment) - All Knox students are automatically enrolled in an accident insurance plan that provides specified medical benefits if they're accidentally injured on or off campus. NOTE: The policy effective date and policy termination date listed on this webpage are subject to change once the current (2022-23) insurance cycle has been completed.
- Comprehensive health insurance (strongly advised) - While basic health care is available through campus Health Services, additional medical expenses are your financial responsibility. Ensure your health insurance provides coverage in the U.S., either through your parents or your own policy. Find information about individual insurance plans.
