Schneider Named Provost and Dean

Professor of History Michael Schneider, who has served Knox as interim dean and associate dean, has been named Provost and Dean of Knox College for a three-year term starting this June.

New Archaeology Minor Expands Social and Physical Sciences

Knox will begin offering the minor in fall 2019. It will consist of an introductory course, a practicum that involves research in the field, and courses in one of three concentration areas: Mediterranean, Native American, or geoarchaeology.

Business Students Create Brand Audit for Local Company

Students in BUS 343, a strategic brand management course taught by John Spittell, used what they had learned in the classroom to create a brand audit of the Knox County Brewing Company.

A Knox College student enjoys Flunk Day on a mechanical shark

The rainy weather on April 30 meant that Flunk Day activities—such as riding down a large inflatable slide, eating churros and cotton candy, playing a real-life version of "Whack-a-Mole," and trying to hang onto a "bucking" shark—took place in the T. Fleming Fieldhouse. This year's Flunk Day theme was "Flunkin' Under the Sea."
