Tim Kasser, professor of psychology, recently gave two virtual presentations: He was the invited speaker for the Question & Answer period of the Lifestyle segment of the Global Landscape Forum’s Kyoto 2019 Digital Edition Conference. He also gave an invited talk to environmental studies and psychology students and professors at Universität Koblenz-Landau, Germany, on how values research can be used in environmental campaigns.
Assistant Professor of Art Andrea Ferrigno’s work, “The Last Dance,” appeared in Art Maze Magazine’s spring issue.
Ben Farrer, assistant professor of environmental studies, received a National Science Foundation grant, co-authored with Rob Holahan at Binghamtom University, to research how best to regulate fracking, and by extension, how best to make any controversial decision about a new technology. The grant is for approximately $300,000.
Sara O’Brien, assistant professor of psychology, was co-author on a paper accepted for publication in the Journal of Research in Personality entitled "Extraversion and Psychopathology: A Multilevel Hierarchical Review." Co-authors were researchers at the University of Notre Dame and University of Western Ontario.
