The Knox College Bastian Family Center For Career Success helps students
- explore career paths related to fields of interest and career values
- create and refine resumes and cover letters
- find valuable internships and work opportunities
- connect with alumni, employers, and graduate programs
The Bastian Center manages opportunities and resources through the career services platform, Handshake. All incoming students will have a Handshake account created for them and granted access after August 1st, so no need to create your own!
Once you have been granted access after August 1st, click here for instructions on how to complete your Handshake profile and upload a photo of yourself and current resume. If you don’t have a resume, that is ok!! We have great resources to get you started below and will help you refine your profile during New Student Orientation.
Having a resume ready will also be helpful to those interested in applying for any on-campus student employment roles or exploring external opportunities through our Friends of the Fire account, all of which will be found exclusively on Handshake.
