Because of the accelerating COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing stay-at-home order from the State of Illinois, Knox College has made the decision to teach the entirety of spring term remotely.

Dear Students and Colleagues,
I am writing with a campus update regarding off-campus study.
As a cornerstone of the Knox educational experience, international study expresses our core institutional commitment to understand and embrace our world. Delivering on that commitment depends on the hard work of Knox faculty, academic advisors, and staff; the support of program providers with offices in the U.S. and overseas; airlines and travel agents; a wide array of international institutions, governments, and local officials; and the generosity of host families and other local hosts. The current novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is placing pressure on every linkage in this chain of support.
Out of an abundance of caution for the health of our students and with deep consideration of the pressures mentioned above, we are adopting the following guidance for our students, faculty, and staff:
Please contact the Stellyes Center for Global Studies if you have questions related to specific study abroad programs.
For general College updates regarding the coronavirus issue, please refer to our updates page.
We very much regret these interruptions and are grateful to all affected for your patience and understanding. As the pandemic stabilizes, we will work with each individual student to identify opportunities in the future for them to have a global educational experience.
