Because of the accelerating COVID-19 pandemic and ongoing stay-at-home order from the State of Illinois, Knox College has made the decision to teach the entirety of spring term remotely.

Given the changes in the availability of on-campus room and board during the first half of spring term, we’re making adjustments to the charges for the spring term’s room, board (meal plan), and mandatory fees. Within the next few days, we will be making adjustments to all students’ bills. We will remove the following spring term fees: room, board (meal plan), activity fee, and the health service fee.
For students who petitioned to remain on campus for all of spring term, charges for room, board, and the health service fee will be added to their accounts effective March 25, 2020.
For students not living on campus for the first half of spring term, we will add back the appropriate room, board, and health service fees at the prorated rate based on the date that in-person classes resume.
A prorated activity fee will also be added for all students when in-person classes resume.
Once all adjustments are made, overpayment refunds will be returned to the student via direct deposit to the account information we have on file. If you are making payments using an installment plan via CASHNet, the plan should adjust appropriately.
