QUEST (Queer Union for Equality and Societal Transformation) exists to create a safer, more comfortable environment for the Knox and Galesburg communities regardless of identity. We focus not only on making Knox safer for students of the sexual and gender minority, but also will be socially and politically active by working towards the rights of the oppressed minorities and reaching out to the Galesburg community.

Goals

  • Create a safety system/network for when students are both on and off campus
  • Work overtly to end queer phobia
  • Create a campus more supportive for students of the gender minority
  • Burst the Knox Bubble, and solidify positive relations between Knox and Galesburg Communities.
  • Network with other queer groups outside of Knox.
  • Be socially and politically active at Knox and in the community.
