The Quantitative Investment Society (QIS) is a student organization for Knox students interested in mathematics, statistics, programming, data, and financial markets. QIS welcomes students from all majors, including beginners who want to explore quantitative thinking and develop practical technical skills.
Through workshops, collaborative projects, competitions, and career-focused events, QIS helps students build experience in areas such as financial modeling, quantitative analysis, and tools like Python, SQL, and Excel. We also hope to support students through activities such as guest speaker events, mock interviews, and other opportunities that connect classroom learning with real-world applications.
