Unless otherwise noted, all Knox College Choir, Players, and Chamber Singers concerts are free of charge, and no tickets or reservations are necessary. Members of the public are enthusiastically invited! Music at Knox is for everyone in Galesburg. Come as you are, and welcome.
Performance schedule
- Oct. 28th • The Knox College Choir performs a short set as part of the first annual Homecoming Music Showcase, welcoming alumni home to discover what music their alma mater is making today. 4:30 PM in Kresge Recital Hall, Ford Center for the Fine Arts, Knox College Campus.
- Nov. 10th • WHEN I LOOK UP: music all about the things that are greater than we are. This is KCC’s mainstage fall performance, and the premiere performance of the Knox College Players, featuring Ariel Ramírez’s Misa Criolla. This is a landmark concert, and not to be missed! 8:00 PM at Central Congregational Church.
- March • The Knox College Choir goes on tour from Galesburg to Chicago and points in between.
- March 29• The KCC’s annual
home tour
concert, taking the music we take around the country home to Galesburg. 8:00 PM in Kresge Recital Hall.
- May 24th • ANYTHING’S POSSIBLE: the KCC’s spring concert, declaiming through song all that we wish for, or wish against, in life. The concert will conclude with a performance of Brahms’s Schicksalslied. 8:00 PM; Central Congregational Church.
