The Knox Alliance for Disability Support and Advocacy (KADSA) is committed to creating a peer support and advocacy group for students with any sort of disability (physical, learning, mental or other). KADSA wants to provide a forum for educating the greater campus community about the issues, experiences, and attitudes regarding disability at Knox and in the greater society. Through educational seminars and discussions, KADSA strives to discuss the ways that disabilities are viewed in society, and to eliminate stigmas against disability.

Goals of the club

  • Provide student-to-student support, advice. and guidance based off of common experience.
  • Educate the Knox community about disabilities to lessen the cultural and social stigma against disabled people.
  • Educate the Knox community on the diverse and unique perspective of disabled students at a small, residential college like Knox.
