Mission Statement

KAAMI (Knox Advocacy for Awareness of Mental Illness) exists to facilitate a better understanding of mental illnesses and to promote overall mental well-being at Knox College. General presentations about mental illnesses will be given and open to all on campus, as well as discussions to promote greater understanding. The value of this organization is in promoting an understanding of mental illnesses for those who have them, those who are close to someone with a mental illness, or those who simply wish to know more.
