Students walk through a field of dandelions on campus.

Casa Latina is a cultural center dedicated to promoting Spanish, Latino, Chicano, Mexican-American, and Latin American life and culture. First established in January 1994, it was given the status of a culture center in September 2001.

The Casa Latina Culture Center is affiliated with Lo Nuestro, a student organization focusing on Latino cultural awareness, which uses the Center for meetings and events. Those living in Casa Latina work to promote greater communication and understanding of the Hispanic/Latino culture and world. It is an open, inviting place on campus for students who are interested in learning through shared experiences.
