Berries on a campus tree.

Established at Lombard College in 1867 as Delta theta Chapter, Sigma Nu was transferred to Knox after the collapse of the College. Delta Theta is the longest continuously running chapter at Knox, as well as the oldest continuously running Sigma Nu chapter in the world. Brothers of Sigma Nu follow the first part of their organization's creed, "to believe in the life of love," and spread it to others. Their residential house is located at 556 West Street.
