Knox Smash Bros is a club that focuses on the competitive play of the games in the Smash Bros. franchise. Super Smash Bros is a recognized eSport and video game competition. The club wishes to provide a healthy atmosphere for players to grow and have fun in the gaming community, no matter their level of skill.
Interested players are organized into groups by skill level that practice together weekly. The club hosts regular tournaments that rewards players for their winnings, provides snacks and raises funds for local philanthropic causes, such as the Knox County Humane Society. The club is committed to building up a stock of supplies for gaming, such as CRT TV's, spare controllers, and extra microphones and webcams for live streaming matches so that players who lack that equipment can still participate.

A.B.L.E. (Allied Blacks for Liberty & Equality) was founded.
Open to students of all races, uniting them around common concerns regarding the Black experience
