As part of Philosophy of Art this term, we're asking the question: Why do we enjoying bad art? Coinciding with this discussion will be a screening of what is widely considered one of the worst films of all time: Tommy Wiseau's 2003 disasterpiece The Room. This film falls into the so-bad-it's-good category.
After the film, we'll discuss it and why so many people take so much pleasure from watching something so objectively awful. Rather than keeping the fun to ourselves, we're inviting anyone who would like to participate to come and join us.
