Blessings in a Backpack is an organization in which we work together and unite the Galesburg community to feed kids for a brighter future!

Every week, we feed 436 students from different Elementary schools by packing bags of food and sending them over to the schools for the weekend.

Every Tuesday evening at 5:45pm, students and community volunteers gather at the basement of 1st Presbyterian Church to pack the 436 bags of food for the kids!

We meet in front of Alumni Hall and walk to the First Presbyterian together.
