CFA Round Room
The Knox College FILM CLUB will be sponsoring the first ever 18|37 Film Festival on May 18-19.
The 18|37 Film Festival is an event where teams gather to make a short film in a limited time frame. In this case, 18 hours and 37 minutes. You can make your film on anything you want with the only parameters* being a prescribed line of dialog, and a prop that must be featured in your film. The fun is in containing the creative, and active part of filmmaking into a small amount of time. Then, after all the films have been turned in (notice, the word "finished" is not used), we'll have a filmmakers showcase in CFA to screen all the movies. There will also be snacks and a small party involved.
Best of all, we'll also be handing out authentic trophies for films that win in categories like, "Best Picture," "Best Writing," and "Best Use of the Prop".
We know you're all creative individuals, and there's nothing better to do on the weekend but distract ourselves from the looming thoughts of finals. So, make a team and come have fun with the Film Club.

Thanks and hope to see you all at the event!
*There are other rules, like not breaking the law, or violating Knox policies. Boring stuff like that.
